Friday 25th October - walk **** – Circuit Landguard Nature Reserve –
sunny periods and warm.
We were going to visit my Dad at Ipswich but we are full of germs again so
had to call it off:( I managed to do my exercises in the sunny back garden
while Mag did some knitting as there is not much to do in the garden at the
moment. As we had to go to Lidl we did our usual, drive down the Manor end
to park and slowly walk around the lovely Landguard Nature Reserve. It was
lovely and warm with light winds as we walked taking a detour to the view
point just in time to see a dredger head out and three tugs are getting
ready to help a container ship leave its berth! We continue along the River
Orwell with the sunlight glistening off the water and with the tide low we
walk along the seashore with loads of froth being washed up, we are also
lucky enough to see a seal offshore but it quickly disappears never to be
seen again. Then after a quick spin around Lidl its time to take it easy
over a cuppa and cake, fingers crossed we feel better tomorrow!
